Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor in Sandy, UT ?

No. You do not need a referral to schedule a visit. Some insurance plans have their own referral rules, so our team is happy to review your benefits with you before or at your first appointment.

What happens at my first visit?

Your first visit includes new patient paperwork, a review of your health history, a chiropractic exam, X-rays when needed, and a consultation with Dr. Eldredge to go over findings and a personalized care plan. You can learn more on our What to Expect page.

Can I fill out my paperwork before I arrive?

Yes. New patients can complete intake paperwork online from home before the first visit, which helps your appointment start on time. Visit our New Patients page to get started.

Does chiropractic care hurt?

Most patients find adjustments comfortable. Dr. Eldredge uses a gentle, measured approach and adapts techniques to your comfort level, age, and condition. Mild soreness for a day or so after early visits is possible and usually fades quickly.

Do you take insurance?

Yes. We accept most major insurance plans and also offer time-of-service discounts for patients who pay directly. See our Payment Options page for accepted payment methods.

Do I have to sign up for a long-term prepaid treatment plan?

No. We do not require long-term prepaid plans. Your care plan is built around your needs and progress, and it can be adjusted as you improve.

What is Prolozone therapy?

Prolozone therapy is a regenerative injection that combines ozone with supportive nutrients to help stimulate healing in joints, ligaments, tendons, and other soft tissues that have not healed well on their own. Read more about Prolozone therapy.

Do you offer shockwave therapy?

Yes. Shockwave therapy uses acoustic waves to boost circulation and tissue repair for chronic tendon, ligament, and joint pain. Visit our Shockwave Therapy page for details.

What is clinical nutrition and how can it help me?

Clinical nutrition looks for the underlying dysfunction behind health concerns and uses targeted diet changes and whole food supplements to support healing. Dr. Eldredge is an Applied Clinical Nutritionist. Learn more about clinical nutrition.

Can chiropractic care help after a car accident?

Yes. Even low-speed collisions can cause neck pain, back pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. We evaluate each case carefully and may combine chiropractic care, therapy, and rehabilitation to support recovery.

Is chiropractic care safe for children and during pregnancy?

Chiropractic care can be adapted for children and pregnant patients with gentle techniques. Many families bring their kids to see Dr. Eldredge, and prenatal massage is also available for expecting mothers.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on your condition, how long you have had symptoms, and your goals. After your exam, Dr. Eldredge will explain your recommended care plan and how progress will be measured.

Do you offer spinal decompression?

Yes. Spinal decompression is a non-surgical option that gently stretches the spine to reduce pressure on discs and nerves. It is often used for herniated or bulging discs and sciatica. See our Chiropractic Services page.
